Babybear came home from school today and said that they had been talking about the the Ernest Hemingway six word story: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn." You'll find more examples by famous authors here

I've asked her to tell her teacher about FWFR. After all, "Six words good, four words better".

Wow is Hemingway wordy - should have written: "Selling: baby shoes, unopened."

He would never have hacked it here.

Actually EH is my all-time favorite and I love that 6 worder - it really tells quite a story.

Birth, school, work, death.

That is a great story isn't it - I remember talking about that one at school as well. And brevity is the soul of wit... as we aptly prove.
