Cheddar's Finest has accidentally copied someone else's pun for Revenge of the Sith: "Sith Happens." He just added "Anakin Skywalker:" in front of it to make it four words instead of just two. But it's the same review.

(And Wheelz's accidental duplicate of my "Anakin yearns, turns, burns" is still there...)

Nice spot Randall. NOW GIVE ME JOSS'S 17 VOTES! Hooray!

I must have liked the review - mine was a month before Joss's - but I still voted for his when it came out - I must be getting amnesia in my old age ....

So is Joss's 'There goes the bride' - gimme, gimme, gimme Unless of course I did my maths wrong, and then I'd have to give my votes to Joss

Thanks benj.

It's easy to accidentally duplicate a review when there are almost 400 already published, and I understand that it's also very easy to approve a duplicate under those circumstances.

But it's also easy for reviewers to check for duplicates before submitting, which would make your life easier. C'mon people...if you think there's a chance someone else did it first, it only takes a second to check. Just pick a word from your own review, and search the page for that word. If the film has more than 100 reviews, you'll have to repeat this step but it takes about 20 seconds, and it will reduce benj's (and the MERPs') workload considerably!

This feature is even easier to use in Firefox than IE.

Sorry, DT.

It never occured to me to use a word search to check for a duplicate review... It's a fine idea. I did attempt to peruse all the reviews for Episode III before submitting mine, but I guess my eyes -- or my brain -- were getting a little fuzzy after the first couple hundred and I missed yours.

I have, of course, now voted for the utterly brilliant review in question, and urge everyone else to do the same... especially the handful of you who voted for mine.

I also threw a few other mea culpa votes your way.

"Herbie goes bananas." for Herbie Goes Bananas

Not exactly a duplicate review, but I'm not sure that duplicating the title of the movie you're reviewing constitutes as a four word film review.

Hate to do this to Turrell, but...

1 Night In Paris

"Saloman Halves Babe"

I don't see how that departs from

"Saloman divides a babe" approved in February
