I agree. It's also potentially the most sarcastic book subtitle ever

Okay folks, well I've been holding off saying anything more definite on the book but... it does finally seem like Yukon and myself are at the point where an announcement is in order.

Basically, for those who've not read about it on the Facebook group, we've just signed with an agent at a considerable New York-based literary agency who's passionate about the book. Of course, we're not quite there yet (the book still needs to be sold to a publisher for one thing) but getting this far so soon and especially as first time authors is a pretty good sign I think.

Finally, I know Yukon's already contacted a fair few of you regarding permission to use reviews and I want to thank everyone for your support on this project with unanimous Yeses all around- you're all absolute stars

HURRAH!!!

This is marvelous news and I hope it gets published. If it does, and they sell it through the Barnes & Nobel site or Amazon, I'll even be able to buy a copy!

(And I promise you, I'll review it on all my review sites to drum up sales.)

Benj,

That's fantastic news, bloody well done to both of you.

Now with my share I'm thinking of buying a new Aston Martin....

Now all we need is for everyone to go out and spend money to get out of this recession.
Publishers are cutting back right now.

We're still a long shot to get published but it's fun to have gone this far.

There must be some mistake. Yukon has not yet contacted me.

Seriously, this is terrific news and I hope it goes off!

I wouldn't read too much into this, I think Yukon just contacted a sample of the top ranked reviewers to get a feeling for how up for this you guys would be. The manuscript still has some work to do on it so we really couldn't say for certain who is or isn't in it just yet anyway.
