Hi fellow fwfrers

It's my annual Webby trawl time again, when I get to suggest cool websites in all kindsa categories. If you have anything you've recently thought was worth a bookmark, please let me know. It doesn't have to be film related, just whatever has surprised, enlightened or entertained you and that you feel might be worthy of a Webby Award.

Grateful as always
Cheers
BB

My favourite webcomic at the moment is 'Hark a Vagrant,' by Kate Beaton, a Canadian girl now living in New York. Highlights include her comics based on historical moments (Captain Cook http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=14 , Jacques Cartier http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=10, Richard III http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=50), literary characters (Robinson Crusoe http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=286, King Lear http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=283), and her elaborations on the scenarios playing out in old novel covers (http://www.harkavagrant.com/index.php?id=279).

Webby consideration or no, check out Kate's amazing work at

What could be more useful than a global encyclopedia of beer? Not much...

Beer Advocate

I've got about 30 of these in my cellar awaiting testing.

BB, has www.Sporcle.com ever got a Webby nom? I would think it's more than deserving in the on-line games category, and with nearly 400 MILLION plays, I bet there's a lot of people who'd agree.

Many thanks, everyone - more please.

Oh, yeah, btw - I was going to suggest MguyX's brother's Old Spice YouTube clip -- but another judge beat me to it! Yay, Isaiah!

Uhm - how can I put this? ... Thank you for your application. At this time you have not been successful. The standard of submissions was exceptionally high. We wish you every success for the future.
