Put any five reviews you like in your F.Y.C. list.
Do not use reviews from the previous round: you must change them every round.
Post here to declare that you've done it: sooner is better than later.
Provide spoiler warnings in your post when appropriate.
Read the F.Y.C.s of all participants.
The next round starts on Monday at noon or later, F.W.F.R. time.

Spoiler (here and in the review) for The Babadook: The eponymous monster takes on the form of the dead father. When I saw it, I actually thought that it was his spirit or something, as in the end they look after it, but Wikipedia doesn't seem to agree.

One film is about communist 'palaces'. I saw it in the Sofia Film Festival, whose own palace features in it and was one of the venues, so obviously it was screened at the French Institute.

Mads is pronounced "mass". I saw this film in Cyprus and was struck by the fact that they transliterate his name as though the d were pronounced, which is especially strange as in Greek that means using the equivalent of nt, i.e. writing 'Mants' instead of just 'Mas'.

Nina Cassian is/was very perceptive.

Here are my five reviews.
